Mitchell, ot West Lafayette, formerly of thisand Richard Palacios, of West I.a fayette.Mrs Mitchell attended hocity, and William Burton Schnepp, ! daughter's wedding in a pale blue of Delphi, were united in marriage i silk shantung dress with white acin an impressively beautiful ceremony read at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning in the Federated Church of West Lafayette.The bride’s father is a former Shields High School principal who is how an associate professor at Purdue University, where he heads I the teacher placement bureau, and today received his doctor's degree from Indiana University. The Mitchells resided in this city for a number of years and have many friends here.Eight-branched candelabra holding cathedral candles, Marconi daisies, palms, white cnladium plants and foliage combined to form a lovely setting for the rites, i Mrs. J. R. Chiles, of Lima, O., was at the organ for a prelude of nuptial music, changing to the lx-hengrin wedding march for the entrance of the bridal party.Attending the bride as her mu-tron-of-honor and only attendant was Mrs. Robert Heck, of Hammond, who wore a pink organdy frock. A matching circlet of pink organdy in her hair held a nose-tip veil, and she carried an informal cascade arrangement of blue carnations.Bride in BlueThe bride, given in marriage by 1 er father, was lovely in a mist blue organdy gown, with low, round neckline and cap sleeves featuring a fitted bodice. The billowing skirt was ballerina length. The bride’s slippers were of blue brocade. Her circular bridal veil, nose-tip, wuis caught by a small blue velvet cap, and she carried a white orchid and pink Demure roses on a white Bible.Richard Mulvey, of Detroit, served as Mr. Schnepp’a best man, and ushers were Robert Heck, of Hammond, Jack Johns, of Delphi,ccssories accented by a corsage ol pink carnations and white stephanot is.Mrs. Schnepp, mother of the bridegroom, wore a pale blue linen and lace dress with white ucu sories and a corsage identical to that worn by Mrs. Mitchell.Breakfast ServedOne hundred and twenty-five guests were served at a breakfast at the Morris Bryant Hotel, Wlt; ' Lafayette, immediately following tin* ceremony. Lindberg Rond.The newlyweds left on a wed limg trip to northern Michigan fol lowing the breakfast, and upon their return will be at home in Delphi, where the bridegroom i engaged in farming.For her going aw-ny costume Mrs Schnepp donned a beige faille suit with w hite accessories and the orchid which she carried in her wedcfing.Mrs. Schnepp, a graduate of In diana University, is a member of Kappa Kappa Kappa sorority and the REO. Sisterhood. She is a teacher in the first gratie in the Lafayette city schools.Mr. Schnepp. a graduate of Del phi High School, served with tin armed forces in World War II.Many out-of town guests attend ed the wedding, among whom were Mr. and Mrs. T. 1*.
