JMcConnell, Jane 0.—Mrs. James Hartsough, of Nora, and Mrs. Wood Robey were calling on friends at this place last week.Children's day services will be held here Sunday, June 19.Ben Gibler and Miss Nellie Robey were married last week.Mrs. Almira Robey has been visiting friends at Nora for several weeks. She will visit in Freeport before returning home.Wood Robey was taken very sick one day last week, but is around again.Miss Alice Slothower has come homo to spend her vacation. Sho has been engaged to teach the Dakota school another year.Miss Nettie Graves is visiting friends at Thomson, 111. There has been over thirty conversions at the meetings which are being held at that place by Rev. Clay, pastor of that charge.Oscar Wells came near losing one of his horses by having its foot badly cat on some barbed wire.Quite a number from here attended the Dunkard meeting last Sunday.Cbalrl
