Details in story.*******JANSEN—OVERBERGENThe afternoon of June 22 at2:00 p.m. Miss Marsha Jansen, daughter of Mrs. Mattie Jansen of Pelia, became the bride of Mr. James E. Overbergen, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Overbergen of Oskaloosa, at the home of the bride's mother.Dr. P. Y. De Jong performed the double ring ceremony in the presence of the immediate families, The vows were spoken in the same corner of the living room in which the bride's parents were married. It was decorated with a large bouquet of shasta daisies and white gladioli.For '*her wedding the bride chose a peach colored linen suit dress with a white orchid corsage. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs. Lawrence Dykstra, who wore a dress of white eyelet. The groom was attended by hisbrother Ted of Duluth, Minnesota. Both the men were attired in blue business suits.The couple enjoyed a honeymoon through Colorado and are now at home to their relatives and friends at 827% High Ave, East in Oskaloosa.The bride is a graduate of Pella Christian High and has been employed by the Vermeer Manufacturing Co.
