Robinson. The Rev. Bill McFatridge officiated dor the double ring ceremony.Mr. and Mrs Albert Hames, Jr., are parents of the bride, whojs a spring graduate of Whitewright high school Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Fortner of Westminster. He is also a graduate of Whitewright high school and is employed asmanager of West Side Gulf in McKinney.The lawn was decorated with hurricane lamps bed with yellow bows, and an archway was covered with daisies and greenery and two spiral candles.Escorted and given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an off-white dress with lace ruffles covering the bodice, full-length lace sleeves and a sash tied with a bow on the back The bridal bouquet was arranged with yellow, orange, green and white daisies and with baby's breath on top of a white Bible The Bible belonged to Mrs Arnold Henson. She also carried white gloves and a handerchief from her great grandmother and a handerchief from her grandmother, Mrs. Albert Hames, Sr. Vicky Hames. sister of thebride, was maid of honor anc bridesmaids were MariMcFatridge and Mrs Mike Kemp of ShermanFlower girls were Deanna Alexander and Magic Fortner, niece of the bridegroom. Ronald Hames. brother of the bride, was ringbearerBestman was Mike Wyatt of farmersville and groomsmenand ushers were E J. Durham,Ronnie Fortner, and DavidFortner, brothers of thebridegroom, and Kenneth Franklin.Candlelighters were KimRobinson, the bride's cousin, andRandy Hames, brother of the brideWedding music was presentedby Mrs. T. W. Bowen, pianist,and Brenda Thornhill and BettyKay Geers, who sang A Time forUs,” and We’ve Only Just Begun The reception was held at the home of the bride s parents. In the house party were Gina Judd, Debi Bush, Kim Rogers, Debbie Alecxander and Kim Robinson cousin of the bride, and Mrs Steve Bond of Sherman.After a wedding trip to San Antonio and Galveston the couple will be at home in Whitewright.The bridegroom’s parents were hosts for a rehearsal dinner Friday evening at the home of the bride's grandparents.
