The daughter of the Chief of Information. tJ. S. N*. Rear Admiral RobertHickey, and Mrs. Hickey is to be married on Saturday to 2d Lt. William Bruce Cook. U. S. M. C., son of Rear Admiral and Mrs. Sterling Cook of Boston.Rear Admiral and Mrs. John B. Pierson, jr.. will give a 6-to-8 o’clock party on Thursday for members of the wedding party and close relatives of the young couple in their Spring Valley home.Admiral and Mrs. Pierson have had as their house guests Rear Admiral and Mrs. Wendel Switzer, who came up from Norfolk Tuesday to be on hand to greet Capt. and Mrs. George Anderson who flew in that day from Paris. Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Switzer are sisters. The Switzer’s returned to Norfolk on Thursday, but will be in town again on Friday. and will attend Miss Hickey’s' wedding Saturday.Capt. and Mrs. Anderson are oresently at the Hotel Shoreham for a few days before returning to France where Capt. Anderson is on Gen. Eisenhower’s staff.Capt. and Mrs. Richard H. Phillips will entertain the bridal party and out-of-town guests at an after rehearsal supper. Miss Suzanne Johnson, daughter of Mrs. Phil-; lips is a bridesmaid, also Miss Sue Maguire. Mrs. Alden Yates is matron of honor.
