Peterson.The Rev. Henry Peterson, pastor of Stavanger Lutheran Church, performed the 7:30 p.m. candlelight double ring ceremony.Parents are the Lawrence C. Weeks of Minooka and the Simon Petersons of Seneca.Mrs. Curtis Devick of Newark was organist and Mrs. Howard Mathre and Howard Christian of Newark were soloists. Musical selections included “One Hand, One Heart”, “King of Love My Shepherd Is” and “The Lord’s Prayer”.Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white slipper-length gown of silk organza with a high neckline and long sleeves. Lace appliques extended from the neckline down an A-line skirt and encircled the hemline and sleeves.A train effect fell softly from the shoulders. An elbow-length bouffant veil of white illusionnavy blue sheath with silver accessories. The bridegroom’s mother was attired in a gold brocade dress with gold accessories. Both mothers wore corsages of Japette orchids.Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors. Decorations w'ere in the bride’s colors of plum and white. Assistants were Miss Mavis Orton, Miss Marilyn Bryant, Miss Carol Otto, Mrs. Marilyn Thompson, Mrs. Carol Loux, Mrs. Edith Weeks, Mrs. Sharon Alsvig, Mrs. Judy Steele and Mrs. Judy Southcombe.For a trip to the southern states the new Mrs. Peterson wore a beige three-piece suit with an orchid corsage. They will reside at Seneca.The bride is a graduate of Newark Community High School and the Joliet School of Beauty Culture. The bridegroom was graduated from Seneca Community High School and is employed by Caterpillar Tractor Co., Aurora.A rehearsal dinner was given by the bridegroom’s parents in Helmar Lutheran Church.was held in place by a high crowm of lace encrusted withpearls and crystals. Her bridal bouquet was a long cascade of white carnations centered with two orchids.Farewell DiMINOOKA—A farewell potMrs. Karl Michaelson, Sandwich, was matron of honor. She chose a slipper-length gown styled with a deep plum colored velvet bodice and a natural white crepe skirt. She wore a matching blusher veil and carried a long cascade of pink carnations.luck dinner for the Stanley Berger family will be held at 6:30p.m. Saturday in St. Mary’s Church Hall. Each family is to bring two dishes to pass and their own table service. A purseof money will be given to theBergers. AH friends are invited.Dressed identically to the matron of honor were other bri-attendants, Mrs. HaroldCarlson of Morris and Mrs.Richard Worthen of Carrollton.Dennis Southcombe of Sen- LAST DAYeca was best man.
