An Irish Memb«r of Parliament Came to This Country tor a Wife.New York, Jan. 6.—William J. Lane, M. P., for North Cork, Ireland, arrived in the Adriatic Sunday. The object of his visit to this country is to marry Miss Armstrong, daughter of 0. E. Armstrong, importer. Immediately on his arrival he was driven to the Armstrong residence, 280 Lafayette avenue, Brooklyn. He declined to discuss Irish politics, saying he was simply a member of parliament on furlough; nor would he say when the wedding was to take place. Mr. Lane met Mira Armstrong while she was on a European tour. He is 41 and she 22.
