Ring Vows Are Pledged In LockneyLOCKNEY (Special) - Miss Rosemary McDonald and James Dale Salzmann exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church, Plainview. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. J. R. McDonald, Lockney, and Mr. and Mrs. William A. Salzmann, Pittsburgh, Pa., are parents of the bridegroom.The new Mrs. Salzmann is a 1954 graduate of Lockney High School and received her B.S. degree from West Texas State College in Canyon. She has been employed with the Child Welfare Division of the Texas Department of Public Welfare at Sherman.Her husband was graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a design engineer with the Union Switch and Signal Co. at Pittsburgh. The couple will make their home in Pittsburgh after a wedding trip to the Mammouth Cave.The Rev. Dr. H. Strauss Atkinson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Canyon, read the ceremony. The bride, who entered the church with her father, was gowned in white imported lace over silk taffeta. The fitted bodice of her dress featured a scoop neckline and three-quarter length sleeves. Her bellshaped skirt fell to ballerina length.The bride chose her sister, Mrs. John F. Stewart of Kansas City, Mo., to serve as matron of honor. Best man was Fred E. i Dose of South Bend, Ind., and i ushers were Beryl L. Johnson of i Plainview and John F. Stewart of Kansas City, brothers-in-law i of the bride.The bride’s nephew, Mike , Johnson o f Plainview lighted candles. John Ward of Plainview i sang wedding selections, and Mrs. Maudell Meredith accom-; panied him.Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church i parlor.
