McConal, was recently elected president of Sigma Delta Chi, a professional journalism fraternity at Sam HoustonState College.The chapter will be initiated aiifi installed on the campus February 21, Sam Houston’s chapter was accepted at the national convention held in Houston in November.James Earl Norman was elected vice-president, in charge of Professional Affairs. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Norman. James Earl is a senior and Bunkv is a junior at the school.Bunkv recently sold his first writing to the Progressive Farmer and will be published in a few months.
