He also sang “The Lord's Prayer” while the couple knelt at the altar.Tapers were lighted by Misses Melody Tjossem of LnCJrand and Virginia Melsha of Cedar Rapids, sorority daughters of the bride. They wore identical dresses of gold colored taffeta and wrist corsages of mums.The bride was given in marriage by her father, She wore a gown of imported rose point lace and nylon tulle over slipper aatin, fashioned with a molded bod ire featuring a scalloped scoop neckline edged In hand pleated tulle. Long sleeves were tapered to a point over her hand and the gown was fastened with tiny fare buttons. The very full bouffant skirt of tulle, scattered with medallions, and a pointed peplutn of laco attached to a deep panel of matching lace at the back, f«’li into a graceful chapel train. I Tor fingertip veil of Imported French illusion was caught with a coronet of tiny seed pearls and irre-descent sequins. She carried a bouquet of white carnations on her Rainbow Rible.Miea lJeverly Carson, Bister of the groom, was maid of honor and Mrs. William Zanders, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. They both wore peacock blue crystallette over taffeta fashioned as ballerina length dresses with a scoop neckline in front but deep in the back. The lmuiTant skirts had a large bow at the back of the waist line. The two carried bouquets of bronze mums.Miss Jeannie McLain of Emerson and Carolyn Hankin of Dour were bridesmaids. They wore rose colored crystalletto over taf-wornbv the maid and matron of honor. They also carried bronze mums.Larrv Zanders, nephew of tho bride, carried the ring* on ti white saltn pillow.Donnie Thorson. Emerson, served as best man. The table was covered with a haiM made linen cloth. Mint dishc9 on tier stands of white with hlue forget-me-nots and nut dishes with white leaves trimmed in gold were especially band made ceramics foT the couple.After the bride and groom cut the traditional Hrst piece of cake, the remaining portion was served by Mrs. Averal Karslens and Mrs. Merril Warren. Twila Rrammeler of Henderson poured the coffee and Pauline Carlson of Red Oak served the punch. Miss Eunice Knop presided at the guest book. Dixie Zanders, cousin of the bride and Mrs. Roger Starr, both of Malvern were In charge of the gifts.Miss Annette Oelth. Mrs. Charles Carson, grandmother of the groom, wore a wine colored dress and black accessories. Both wore corsages of pink carnations.The bride will graduate in June from Simpson College where sho ’ is affiliated with Delta, Delta, Delta sorority. The groom, a. j graduate of Simpson Colette, was ! affiliated with Satubi Chi Alpha. Fraternity and is now attending the University of Nebraska, Ho will graduate in June with a Masters Degree in geology.The newlyweds will honeymoon in Florda. Tho bride left wearing; a red wool suit, white hat and gloves.
