MISSION HILLS, Calif. — Betty G. Nemec Cacek, Sepulveda, Calif., and Richard M. Truesdell, 992 Cedar Woods Rd. SE, Cedar Rapids, were married Nov. 28 during a 3 p.m. ceremony at San Fernando Mission Chapel. The Rev. James Blantz officiated. A dinner reception for 78 guests was held at Odyssey Restaurant, Granada Hills, Calif. The bride is the daughter of the late Jerry and Libbie Nemec, for merly of Pasadena, Calif. The bride groom is the son of Wilma Trues dell, 1219 16th Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, and the late Albert Trues dell. Chris Cawelli attended the bride as matron of honor. Dr. Albert Truesdell served as best man. Craig Cacek was grooms man. Ushers were Dr. Thomas Truesdell, Mark Cawelti and Mark Onstott. A rehearsal dinner was held Nov. 27. The bride attended the University of Iowa and has been employed by Ask Mr. Foster Travel. Her hus band, a U of I graduate, is retired from Rockwell International. The couple will make their home in Cedar Rapids.
