Vicki Lee Klaiber and James Lowell Davis Jr. were joined in marriage at Essex United Methodist Church by the Rev. James Caldwell. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Klaiber of Rich-wood. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Davis Sr., also of Rich wood.During the double-ring rite, the bride was escorted by her father for the open church ceremony. The new Mrs. Davis wore a white sugarcane knit gown, enhanced with venice lace, a sleek V-neckline with long, fitted sleeves and an empire waistline with attached train to the skirt. Her walking length mantilla veil was edged with venice lace, secured with seed pearls on the headpiece. Her bouquet was an arrangement of silk and dried fall flowers. Her only jewelry was a heart-shapednecklace, belonging to her great-grandmother.The altar was graced with two seven-branch candelabra, accented with greenery, baby's breath and bows. Fall flower arrangements also adorned the altar.Maid of honor was Debbie Klaiber of Rich-wood, sister of the bride. Her gown was a rust polyester knit with a sheer cape of fall colors. She wore a picture hat.Carl Davis, Richwood, was his brother’s best man.Candlelighter for the service was Jerry Klaiber, brother of the bride.Ushers were Rex Davis and Steve Patton, brother-in-law of the groom.Guest book attendant was Sharon Klaiber of Byhalia, sister-in-law of the bride.Organist for the Nov. 12 service was Vonnie Was-serbeck of Green Camp. Vineta Brown of Richwood was soloist, accompanied on the piano by her daughter, Laurie.The wedding reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Richwood.The new Mrs. Davis is a 1978 graduate of North Union High School and is a waitress at Winner’s Circle in Richwood. Mr. Davis graduated in 1976 from North Union and is engaged in farming and in addition is an employee of Russell Borland, near Richwood.Following a short wedding trip to Columbus, the newlyweds are residing at30444 McPeck Rd., Richwood.DSJARTERS
