Williams-Henry.A very pretty wedding was celebrated Wednesday evening, November 28, at the home of Mrs. AnnaE. Williams of South First street west, Cedar Rapids, when her daughter, Virginia Louise, was united in marriage to Mr. Jno. F. Henry, of Marion. Promptly at 8 o’clock, the bridal couple and the officiating minister, entered the parlor to thestrains of a beautiful weddingmarch played by Miss Winnifred Hays of Vinton. The ceremony was per-4formed by Rev. S. P. Shaw, pastor of the First Baptist church of Marion, in the presence of a large number of guests. The bride was attired in a handsome gown of ashes of roses Henrietta with a lace bolero and she carried roses. After the congratulations supper was served. Many useful and beautiful presents were received, several coming from friends at a distance. The out-of-town guests were Mrs. W. B. Wayt and Miss Velma Wayt of Sac City, la.; Mrs. H. Hays and Miss Winnifred Hays, Miss Bessie Brewer and Miss Edna Snyder, all of Vinton; Mr. and Mrs. M. Rouston of Marion. Mr. and Mrs. Henry will make their home in Marion after the first of the year.—Cedar Rapids Gazette.
