Celebrate OOihAnniversary%rCongratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Fardell of Red Deer, Alta„ who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Tuesday, August 1st. •Mr. and Mrs. Fardell came to j Canada in 1906 to Rossburn when j it was then ‘the end of the steel’. | They farmed in the Angusville j and Birdtail districts for many j years before leaving for Winni- j peg to reside with their daughter, I Mrs. J. Fred Spence. Two of their daughters, Mrs. Wm. Craig and Mrs. Allan Smith (formerly ot Birdtail) are now living in Red j Deer. Alta., where Mr. and Mrs. j Fardell now make their home. A * fourth daughter, Mrs. Wm. A j Wither, resides at New Westmin- J ster. There are twelve grand- J children and four great grand- \ children. Both are enjoying fair- ! ly good health and Mrs. Fardell j still loves to continue with her J quilt-making, having just com- j pleted a quilt for her grand-niece ) for a wedding present. I
