Rev. Arthur Kruetzmann read thewMMRS. EUGENE HALFPOPMrCh\at th at th Mrs.presion, £ RobeHadouble ring ceremony before an altar decorated wxth snap dragons, carnations and lighted candles. Mrs. Arthur Kruetzmann played a 15-minute prelude of organ music, Frederick Kix sang j “At. Dawning and “The Lord’s !Prayer. ! Pres}The bride, given in marriageby her step-father, Arthur Kix,wore a white suit and hat and a red rose corsage. Mrs. Ervin Ziebell sister of the bride wearing a yellow suit with blue carnation corsage was matron of honor, son. Wesley Barnhart brother-in-law j Mrs. of the groom served as best man. ,Ushers were Ervin Ziebell and Donald Mannetter.Mrs. Kix chose for her daughters wedding a light blue suit with navy accessories. The groom’s mother wore a navy blue dress with navy accessories and both had corsages of red and white carnations.Immediately following the ceremony a reception for 170 guests was held in the church, parlors. A color scheme of orchid and white was used in room decorations. Mrs. Wesley Barnhart presided at the guest book. Mrs.! Max Halfpop as during room hostess, Mrs. Gas Prussner pouring and Mrs. Theo Brunemeier cut and served the wedding cake.Mrs. .Wilbur Hodnefield and Miss Axolene Fisher assisted in serving. Mrs. Frederick Kix and PhylLs Halfpop cared for the 1 gifts-The bride is a graduate of the Hubbard high school and the American school of Beauty Culture in Des ^ Moines.
