Mexican Tradition Sets Rocha-Ochoa WeddingAn old Mexican traditional wedding united Miss Mary Rocha, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cresenclo Rocha, and Louis Ochoa, son of Mrs. Nellie Ochoa of Bridgeport, in marriage. The April 4, U a.m. ceremony was in the St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Kev. Raymond Kosmlcki attending at the double-ring ceremony before 280 guests.During the ceremony the couple was bound together by a yoke placed on their shoulders with the cross between them symbolizing the cross they bear. The yoke consisted of four rows of pearls Interspersed with crystal orchids. The cross was centered with a crystal orchid.Miss Tereslta Alvarez, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Alverez, carried a miniature treasure chest to the altar which held the ' coins representing the groom's earnings pledged to the bride. Her attire matched the bride’s attendants. White carnations composed her corsage.Gregg Ochoa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Magarito Ochoa of Bayard, was the rlnfbearer.Mrs. Helen Spencer, organist, accompanied Miss Mary Cabela as she sane Lord's Prayer”, *Ave Maria* and ‘Mother At Your Feet We're Kneeling.”Altar boys were Everett Mohatt and Bill Bonkiewicz.The chancel was enhanced with pedestal baskets holding arrangements of white snapdragons and blue carnations.The bride, escorted to the altar by her father, wore a floor-length gown of Raymond organza and Chantilly lace. The high neckline began with “A” line styling featuring an attached cascade train of tiered lace. The Bishop sleeves extended to a wide cuff forming the traditional bridal points over her hands. Her silk Illusion veil was held in place with a cluster of lace rosettes matching the dress. She carried a colonial bouquet of Stephanotis Lilly of the Valley and white roses centered with a corsage of two white orchids.Miss Linda Ochoa of Bridgeport, sister of the groom, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Sam Aguiniga of Alliance; Miss Beatrice Rocha, sister of the bride; Miss Alicia Virginia Rocha, sister of the bride; Miss Ophelia Rosales, cousin of the bride of Odessa, Tex.; Mrs. Don Estrada of Scottsbluff, sister of the groom; Mrs. Doug Nielson of Harvard, sister of the groom; Mrs. Jo Camacha o! The skimmer line skirt with the empire look was trimmed in dainty lace.
