High Jinks shines at Manilla Palais Theatre
The Manilla Musical and Dramatic Society staged the 1937 Farce High Jinks at the Palais Theatre on September 23 and 24 under Mr and Mrs C N Scott. The production featured strong performances from Mrs W W Doohan and ensemble talent, with elaborate ballet numbers and a lively plot involving Dr Thorne and the lovers, culminating in reconciliations and a gaiety-filled finale.
