Inverell Bowlers Seek Campbell Cup Victory Over Manilla Club
Under President Bert Miles the Inverell bowlers attacked the Manilla Club to reclaim the Campbell Cup. Poor breeze and choppy conditions challenged pace and direction as Manilla edged ahead but Inverell fought back to a 175 to 168 finish. Several doubles and trios across many lineups tested skill, with a special thanks to the ladies for afternoon tea. The day also welcomed a new bowler Donald Cameron Veness and paid tribute to the late Mrs. Scott at afternoon tea with a moment of silence.
