Dance at Wongo Creek A Patriotic Fund Benefit
A Friday barn dance at Mr Cliffe's barn hosted by the Country Party footballers and Indy cup Postera raised funds for the Patriotic Fund. Wongo Creek ladies crowded the event with hearty entertainment, music by Mrs Johnson and local performers, auctions of stirrup icons and a tea cloth prize, and plans for another such gathering amid broad community appreciation.
