Governor's Outback Tour Highlights Mount Poole Visit
The Governor Sir Dudley de Chair toured far western New South Wales visiting Mount Poole Station, Depot Glen, and Mount Sturt. He met Cecil Bartlett at Salisbury Downs and observed drought impacts, sheep and cattle properties, and historic sites including the Yantara Hotel ruin.
