Passenger cars may be unlicensed for private use or non commercial transport but any carriage for payment requires a license and records. Lorries and tractors used by growers must be licensed. farmers must apply at the District Registry with a 2/6 fee. Passengers on goods vehicles are restricted to specified family, workers, and owners, with rules on mileage charges and permits.
