Willow Planting Guide Spurs City Beautification Plan

Ald McLeod backs the 1937 tree planting programme noting willow trees along the river bank and Church Street thrive and could be better protected with guards and water. The curator and Ald Kennedy support willow use for beautification while pepper trees are proposed for the recreation ground. A Hospital Board request for a tree by the empty guard outside the ramp will be addressed in the replacement programme.
