The CWA Ball hosted by the Manila branch at Memorial Hall drew about 300 attendees despite cold weather. Bob Morrison's Orchestra provided dancing music and balloons and streamers added festive flair from the gallery. The Waters trophy opening weekend for Associates and a members stroke event crowned Mrs G Taylor winner with Mrs D MacDonald close behind. Visitor Mr Ken Coulton led the members round as Ridgwell’s consistent player shone. Attendance and conditions pleased, new members rising, a hearty welcome promised to newcomers. Tomorrow Friday at 3 pm the Manilla Graziers Association holds its annual meeting at Mechanics Institute. NSW Graziers General Secretary Mr Ick Hewins will attend and address the gathering.
