On Dit and Branch Affairs in Liverpool Plains Region
A Sydney-dated column notes a soprano taking a holiday on 12 yaucht while lamenting long voyages. It details branch losses including C. J. B. S. Cummins and Richard Cliffe, thanks to Mr. Co B. Dowe, and delegates Henry Duprez and others. The annual report shows a £98 balance, £70 War Bonds, and officer elections: Bow man president, Coulton and Duprez vice presidents, Dowe acting secretary, Wilshire treasurer. The branch plans affiliation with Liverpool Plains District Council, sets honorariums, and approves £10 to Dowe. It supports boosting overdraft and fixed deposit rates after discussing inflationary trends, with motions to Sydney after District Council approval. The Manilla branch donates £5 to Graziers Association funds supporting the Post J. C. Wool Stabilization Scheme referendum.
