Government Gazette invites bids for Geraki Estate closer settlement
The Government Gazette of 16 March 1951 lists vacation blocks on the Geraki Estate about 9 miles southeast of Finley for closer settlement leases. Blocks range from about 489 to 957 acres with annual rents from 132 to 186 pounds, aimed at dairying and fat lamb raising under irrigation. Applications open 27 March to 2 April 1951 at the Crown Land Agent in Deniliquin.
