Two possible sites are the old golf links or the present site, with dust and noise as main objections. Financial feasibility shows high costs and tax implications for ratepayers, with six acres needed and £3000+ capital, interest, and repayment burdens.

Manilla Rugby League Club signs Matteram coach for March 21
Sadia Matteram Accepia of Manilla Rugby League Club wired today from West for Manilla Football Club and will be in Manilla on March 21. Matterson, 28, has played 100 first grade matches for Western Suburbs and represented NSW against NZ and Queensland. He played forward, weighs sixty four kilograms. He narrowly missed a 1925 Kangaroos trip to England. For two seasons he has been with Dubbo Rugby League, playing 50 matches all won. He coached Dubbo late last season as they began winning, turning the team around from a poor start to a strong unit.
