At the last Manilla Show Committee meeting J N Kennedy reported a Baraba conference with Tamworth Barraba and Bingara representation. Barraba Manilla and Tamworth would again hold shows in 1938, with Bingara possibly joining. Discussion on ground space pricing and a district judges scheme from Manilla drew praise. J B Jones was named poultry steward and John Watts assistant steward in pavilion. Membership goals aimed at 300 by show time, with Manilla Bone Meal association scheduling events. Tragic death of Mr G B Wall Hay presbyterian motorer noted, condolences extended to Mrs Wall and district exhibit lead Ed Nixon. donations already received, more sought.
