Manilla Show Plan Amid War Tensions
At a Fate Society meeting in Manilla in 1943 the incoming committee was urged to plan a two day show for 1945 while a one day event was proposed for 1943 due to petrol shortages and travel limits. Members debated delaying the full show, preferring a single day with ring events, until September when war conditions would be clearer.
