World famous Pullar Clingstone peach tree uprooted by storm
The famed Pullar Clingstone peach tree at Ardmona, propagated by Philip Pullar and later developed by Frank Pullar, was uprooted in a recent storm. The notorious tree, from a mongrel seedling among fifty, produced fruit six times larger than its peers and became a world seller, earning the orchardists’ bread and butter nickname for the Pullar grove.
