Hospital subsidy tax urged for Queensland support

The Minister for Defence has allotted a small parcel of naval clothing for unemployed distribution and it should arrive within one to two weeks after which alterations will be needed for civilian use. The Collector of Lists completed work on the vacancy lists and is proceeding with vicetoral list compilation. The Mandowa Shire Council adjourned meeting on the Sale yards matter is set for 7:15 PM on Saturday 24 July 1931. Maintenance work covered Progress Lane reconditioning, water table cleaning along Rowan Street to the Namoi River, and improved Barraba Street approaches by using used railway sleepers. Revenue to date since the last meeting totals £6 1s 1d with General fund £142 19s 9d, Street Lighting fund £11 19s 2d, BE Trading fund £151 2s 9d.
