Dr G B Park told Mandowa Shire Council the Manilla Tamworth main road is deteriorating. He warned pot holes multiply, traffic is heavy, and the road needs re-surfacing. Council plans a six month rebuild with patrols filling holes and a 1937 program to pave near town entrances.

Australia leads Germany two rubbers to one as Henkel loses to Crawford in straight sets. Quist and Von Cramm played a marathon singles match with Von Cramm winning 4 6 6 4 4 6 1 19. Quist injured his ankle early in the second set but finished bravely. McGrath and Cram Tord defeated Von Cram Nenkel in four sets in doubles. Quist expected to miss Tuesday singles with McGrath set to substitute.

Returns must be furnished to the Commissioner of Taxation at 14 Castlereagh Street Sydney and forms are available at post offices receiving offices court houses police stations railway stations or from the department's offices.
