Mr Phillip Wirth, famed for Wirths Circus, touts a curative recipe for neuritis and gout. He credits Captain Coromartie of the U.S. Navy with the formula, called King Solomon's Cure, which he says cured him after many medicines failed. A NSW health resort case saw a woman walk after four doses, using a preparation of sulphur, tar tar, rhubarb, guaiacum, and honey mixed and taken in hot water.
