Soldiers' League annual meeting at Manilla
About twenty five members and guests met in the Soldiers' League rooms Saturday. Dr Rayson was elected President, with I Miller and R M Smith as vice presidents, and Dr Waterhone as secretary. Reports praised steady sub branch work, noting funds from Tin Hats sale and Anzac Ball profits, memorial services, and a golf cup inaugurated by C M Lane. The Treasurer reported a sound balance, with emphasis on relief funds for returned men and hospital support in the district.
