Sewerage local rate increases from 5d to 8d, sanitary and garbage rise, with electricity charges for domestic and rural units adjusted. The sewerage local fund jumps from 3d in 1951 to 8d this year, about 37 percent of the total rate hike, to fund Treatment Works and Pumping Station operations in 1952.
