Royal Agricultural Society to stage 150th Anniversary Show

The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW announces the Royal Easter Show from April 9 to 23 at the Sydney Showground. A 150th Anniversary Exhibition will be in two new government buildings the Commemorative Pavilion and the Manufacturers Hall with permanent display facilities for national and educational exhibits. Governor Wakehurst and Premier unveilings planned on opening day with no extra admission charge.

Boorabee the Koala becomes a devoted grandmother at Koala Park

Namoi River Rout Magpies in Be Grade Cricket

In a Be Grade match at Oval No 3 Namoi River won easily by 10 wickets in the first innings against Magpies. Magpies showed improvement in the second innings with 104 runs, Rex Reid top scoring with 68 including 9 fours. R Abbeyfield 38 and J Williams 29 contributed to Namoi River’s total while R McDonald took 11 wickets.
