Annual meeting of Man ila Returned Soldiers League
The annual meeting chaired by President W. F. Gannon praised loyal support and outlined 1943 activities including new AL men initiation, Poppy Day and Tin Hat Days drives, social events such as the Anzac Ball, hare drives funds for comforts and welfare, and strong wartime fundraising. The report urged 100 percent member cooperation to sustain the League as a civic force and noted a healthy treasurer balance and key officers.
