Annual Report of Manilla Sub Branch RS and SIA 1938
The Manilla Sub-Branch RS and SIA reports 1938 activity led by secretary J Coates. Fourteen meetings with high attendance, membership at 67 financial members, and numerous social functions including Anzac Ball profit £52 7s 1d and ALF golf day funding. Sports included cricket tennis rifle, with trophies donated by supporters. Christmas tree hosted 150 Diggers children, Xmas outlay £27 15s 3d. Poppy Day gross £19 with most poppies sold. Donations totalling £28 10s to local hospitals, War Veterans Home Narrabeen, School prizes and other groups.
