Bruce Park warns any person or persons found shooting trapping poisoning or trespassing on property that Springmount TM will be dealt with under law without respect to persons. All prior permissions are cancelled.
Public safety note states trapping and poisoning on property identified as Brabri will be dealt with as the law directs without regard to persons. All previous permissions are canceled, authorities including A Baldwin are referenced in the action.
The Mandowa Shire Council held its monthly meeting with President Cryml Park presiding. Alderman Bowman received leave. letters from ratepayers urged road repairs while Wilbur E. Easterman was allotted funds to repair Roseneath road. the engineer to inspect Woodlands Upper Manilla and Somerton road. a motor by pass was approved for J A Byrnes. funds donated to the Benevolent Society of NSW. Shires Association protests on state highway control and machinery.
The Young Australian League showcases Don Dickie known as Don the little Bruin from the Eastern State as conductor and drum major. At 11 he conducts with violin and cornet, sings, and has led parades in Sydney including the Anzac March and Guards of Parade. He will visit Manly with the troupe on September 6, urging advance bookings at Scott's agency.
The annual Show Ball on July 27 raised £101 13s 6d for the Manilla event. Organisers thank Mrs. Rolf Hudson and helpers for the street stall and supper, and a donation from Toedl lim covered hall rent. Receipts total £134 5s. expenses £194 5s. net profit £101 13s 6d. Also noted Australian XI 336 Sussex with Brown 75 Has sett 74 Waite 46 White 44. O Reilly and Meetwond-Smith not playing.
Inspector Bell reports a weed known as Wild Onion is increasing in parts of the Shire. He cites it in reply to Councillor Bowman's question at the last council meeting and notes the need to address the issue and fill existing vacancies.
