Local rifle competition ends with high scores and handicaps

Manilla Agricultural Society holds meeting and loans for show ground

The Manilla show committee, presided by vice president M. Park in President Byrnes absence, approved borrowing 200 pounds from the Bank of New South Wales for show ground improvements. Attendees included I. Main, Mark Reynolds, Col Summerville, A. Brown, and many local members. The Municipal Council granted permission for ground works and boxing rights were sold to Jim Pearce.
