Golf Cup Winners and Weekend Play at Manilla Club
Last week's event in which partners were chosen by lot was won by L Branik and Miss Puller. Final rounds of the Royal Cup on Sunday saw J JC Turner triumph after a two day, 18 holes against par event. Reg Grantham upset Capt. Chapman on the 19th hole to claim the day’s surprise victory. Upcoming fixtures include the Veterans match, Bougalor tournament, ALP Cup, and Diggers Cup Day with multiple draws and matches scheduled at Manilla Golf Club.
