Belgium’s textile strike ended and confidence remains fragile. Brisbane offerings near 680,000 bales. Sydney opening roster 160,000 bales from Sept 3 to Sept 27. Commonwealth and South Africa clip near last year’s output but 350,000 bales short of 1932-33. First series selling dates: Sept 4, 9, 18, 25 each around 4,472 bales.
