Farmers and Graziers Co op Sixth Annual Meeting Report
The sixth annual meeting of the Farmers and Graziers Cooperative Grain Insurance and Agency Co. at the Way Institute reviewed the report and balance sheet. Directors and staff were praised for the year with profits in wheat, wool, stock and produce departments totaling substantial sums and plans for expanded wool stores at Albury and Plymont. A bonus of 11,543 was approved for clients and shareholders, with a dividend of 8 percent and provisions for income and reserves totaling 3,000 each. The report highlights growing shareholding, broader roll of investors, and the cooperative’s long-term profitability including 112,000 in profits distributed since inception.
