The Newry Park property at Upper Manilla, 1683 acres with river frontage, owned by the late James and Mrs. L S Gardner for nearly 50 years, has been sold to A H Nixon of Oakhampton. Sale negotiated by W J Byrnes of Manilla. Leighwood in the Boggabri district sold to A E Westman of Canowindra. Leighwood, part of Bayley Park, covers 1600 acres freehold arable land. Purchasers plan lucerne and fat production.
