Northern hospitals carnival funding plan proposed
At a Manilla meeting the committee discussed a bold scheme to fund northern hospitals by forming an association of twelve hospitals and borrowing £5000 under new acts. Profits from a coordinating carnival plant would cover interest and a sinking fund while keeping the plant locally owned.
