Letter to the Editor on wages and unemployment in Australia
Arthur Salman defends his statements to the Manilla Express about wages and contractor payments. He says no wage pledge was made, he supplied petrol for six workers, two received eight gallons and a battery, and they left after two days. He acted as contractor’s agent, questions dole vs 8d a day, and warns against false standards impacting employment and national policy.
