Stable Prices Are Proposed
A proposed world food price stabilization board would set minimum and maximum prices for foods based on anticipated supply and demand. The board could buy surplus goods or release extra supplies to stabilize prices and might create a six to twelve month food reserve. It could also set export quotas and fund operations through contributor nations.
