William B. Smith of Edrans Man aged 87 died at home September 7 1949. Born in Renfrew County Ontario 1862 he migrated to Manitoba in 1898 later living in Gillespie SD Mayfield and finally Edrans. Survived by wife Christina son Forrest daughter Mrs Chambers two brothers five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral in Edrans United Church September 10 conducted by Rev W A Osborne assisted by W J Dixon.
