Duncan Williamson Presented With Club Bag at Sendoff
A party at the home of Mr and Mrs C W Lye honored Duncan Williamson who has accepted a position at H F Ibs Drug Store in Manitou. About thirty guests enjoyed games music and dancing before Duncan received a leather club bag as a token of esteem. He is known as a home boy educated locally and active in baseball and hockey. The Herald wishes him success in his new role. Mrs W Lawrie of Winnipeg visits town guest of Mr and Mrs W A Young. United Church Ladies Aid Tea postponed. Miss Jean Fotheringham of Brandon Hospital nursing staff visited relatives Miss Fotheringham. Honora Turner daughter of Mr and Mrs H Turner broke her right collar bone after falling from bed and is progressing nicely.
