Rules for the Macgregor Fall Fair specify entry deadlines, single entries per class, and pedigree requirements for pure bred cattle. Exhibits must be owner’s bona fide property, grown this year, with bulls ringed or secured, brood mares with foals, and cattle shown with heavy gear as needed. Judges may withhold prizes and protests go to the secretary before closing day.
The Sheep and Swine Breeders association lists class IX entries for pure bred and common poultry and swine. It calls for pedigreed animals including pure bred swine, geese, turkeys, roosters with two hens, spring chickens, ducks, and Pekin ducks.
