Canadian North West Land Regulations Synopsis
A male over 13 may homestead a quarter section of Dominion land in Saskatchewan or Alberta. Applicants must appear in person at the head of a family or Dominion Lands Agency. Residence six months in each of three years, cultivate fifty acres, and build a dwelling valued at 900.00. Prices: 9 per acre for original entry and 3.0 per acre for purchased homesteads. Deputy of the Minister of the Interior notes publication is unpaid if unauthorized.

Twenty-Eight Die in Zeppelinsheim Airship Disaster
A Friday blast near Berd Zeppelin caused the burning wreck of a large airship to crash from 900 feet. Twenty eight persons perished with one survivor reported as missing and others injured in the fiery wreck.

Peanut Fatality Claims Brandon Basin Child
Dorothy Bers Fox, three year old daughter of Mr and Mrs F Fox of Boissevain, died in Brandon after choking on a peanut that lodged in her windpipe. Dr Bigelow removed the obstruction but swelling and edema had already set in.
